Quality management at SCHÄNIS: Consistent and integrated

STS Systemtechnik Schänis GmbH is an ISO 9001:2015-certified company that strives for maximum quality in all areas of work. In the knowledge that today's customers expect the highest precision and efficiency, procedures and processes at Schänis are constantly analysed and optimised. The total quality management also encompasses the ongoing training of internal experts in quality assurance, so that their knowledge is always up to date. At regular internal training sessions they pass on this knowledge to employees. Thanks to its compact organisational structure, STS Systemtechnik Schänis GmbH is able to respond quickly to optimisation ideas and take immediate corrective measures. This increases quality awareness in all areas. Using state-of-the-art measurement technologies, SCHÄNIS creates optimal conditions for examining the measures.

The quality assurance department monitors the product from order receipt through to end of production, i.e. from incoming inspection of raw materials and semi-finished goods, through first-article inspection, to the final product. Another important component of quality management at Schänis is dealing with customer concerns. Qualified employees record and analyse these using a professional complaints management system. The findings are communicated at the weekly team meetings, statistically recorded and presented.
